Variable Quality, base cost 3 pts.
George Romero or 28 Days Later? Take your pick. But someone with this
Quality has made it back from the grave. This has some up sides, usually…
supernatural toughness, no worrying about those nasty biological processes.
But it also has some down sides…not healing naturally, room temperature
biology…and if the magic wasn't good, some nasty lack of intelligence.
The Quality assumes as part of it a natural resistance to damage…
Zombies mark off lost Life points, but take no penalty from it until hitting
-30, at which point they're dismembered…though then the parts are still
active. Beheading is about the only way to take them down, unless the spell
is reversed. A blow that does damage equal to the Zombie's Strength x 4 will
knock it down and make it spend a turn getting up.
The Quality can also provide extra attribute points, at a 1:1 modifier.
So if it provides -3 Intelligence, it saves 3 pts. If it gives +4 Strength,
that adds 4 pts. to the cost, and so on.
All zombies get the 3 pt. Regeneration Quality, making all zombie
packages cost a base of 3 points.
