Vampire

12 or 15 pt. Quality

Somewhere along the way, your character — whether in a dark back alley or in the bright lights of The Strip — ended up a vampire's dinner… and then became a vampire. Normal vampires take the 12 point quality, including the Mental Problems (Cruelty) drawback (-3), while "humane" vampires are 15 points and do not have the Cruelty drawback. "Humane" vampires are those that have sworn off human blood, for whatever reason, and make an effort to be more "enlightened" than normal vampires.

Vampires get +3 to Strength, +2 Dexterity, +2 Constitution, 2 levels of Hard to Kill, +2 bonuses to hearing- and smell/taste-based Perception rolls (+4 when blood is involved), they take 1/5th damage from bullets, recover from injuries at the rate of 1 LP per Constitution level each hour (fire damage regens at a rate of 1 LP per day), and are Immortal.

Vampires are vulnerable to and can only be killed by sunlight, crucifixes, holy water, wood through the heart (stakes are most common, but a #2 pencil gets the job done, too), fire, and beheading. They also have a -2 Supernatural Form drawback for their "grrr" faces when vamped out.
