Danger! Danger, Will Robinson! No, not THAT kind of Robot (well, at
least probably not. Robots in the Buffyverse tend to have human form and be
capable of mimicking humans pretty well. While not all Robots are assumed to
have free will, those who have this Quality (and are thus suitable for player
characters) do.
This Quality grants +4 to Strength, +1 to Dexterity, and +2 to
Constitution, and these scores can exceed 6. While Life Points are figured
normally, a Robot cannot heal; they must be repaired by someone with Science
3 or better (each Success Level on an Intelligence + Science roll restores
1 Life Point per Constitution level of the robot; each repair attempt takes
1 hour). When a robot falls unconscious, it has been deactivated and will
not regain consciousness without assistance.
