Occult Knowledge

This is not the end-all, be-all hard-and-fast rulebook for what your character knows about the supernatural world. They're more like guidelines. Just because you have Occult Knowledge 6, does not mean that you can spot a Brachen demon in its human form or have detailed and intimate knowledge about local Slayers, Watchers, Big Bad Demons, etc without prior approval from the parties involved.

Level 1	You know stuff is out there, and may have even had an encounter with the genuine supernatural.
Level 2	You know stuff is out there, and basic knowledge on how to deal with it all, or at least know where to go to find out more information.
Level 3	You deal with the supernatural on a regular basis. You know how to research and where to look, and can identify different types of demons and other important aspects of the supernatural world.
Level 4	You have intimate contact with the supernatural world. Perhaps you have a significant library, or hang out in locales that demons and other supernaturals frequent.
Level 5+	Not only do you have intimate contact with the supernatural world, but you are a veritable tome of supernatural facts and history.
