Brilliant, insightful, intelligent…and having the social skills of
your average paper towel roll. Yep, the nerd. Outcast by most, degraded and
ridiculed, the nerd seldom has a happy youth, but tends to get over it with
positions of importance and wealth in adulthood.

Nerds gain +1 to any two mental attributes of their choosing, none of
which can raise an attribute above 6. They also get 2 skill levels that they
can spend as they choose between Computers, Science, and Knowledge. This also
comes with a downside; a -1 to any roll involving social skills.

(NOTE: Brainiac is a slightly more expensive, slightly more effective version
of Nerd, and should be considered for characters more focused on academics.)
