Make A Character Page

To create a page for your character, just follow these few, simple steps!

1. Join the site: If you have not done so already, you will need join the site. There is a link in the top bar, or you can just click here. The password to join the site is elvis.
2. Create Your Page: If you have received a +job from staff stating your wiki page has been created for you, simply go to the Character Current Cast page and find your name on the list. Click it, and once it loads, click Edit at the bottom of the page and move to step 3. If your page has not been created yet, scroll down on this page to the 'Start Your Character Page' section. Type your character's name as it appears in-game (ie. Kimmie, Paulina, Colm, Melinda, etc.) into the box and click the 'new page' button. Give it a moment or two to create the page. At first, it might tell you that the page does not exist, but then it will create the page for you! Voila!
3. Fill The Page In: There is going to be some weird code stuff on the page. Have no fear! You just need to fill this stuff out. It's relatively painless. Just put your info in after the = sign. These fields are optional, and if there is one that you do not want in the info box, just remove it. Separate from the infobox, there are also places to fill in your character's background and to add links to logs on the Forum page. If there are other sections you want to add to the page, feel free to do so! When you're done, click the SAVE button.
4. Upload Your Picture: At the bottom of your new page is a 'files' button (between history and print). Click on this button. It will give you two options: click on 'upload new file'. Click the Browse button, find the picture on your computer, click the Open button. You may want to change the file name to your character's name to make it easier to manage. You will now need to edit the page again, and put the file name in the infobox where it says Image= (ie, image=betsy3.jpg). Your character picture should be kept less than 400px by 400px, or else it is just too big and overwhelms the page.
5. Tag Your Page: Click on the 'tags' button at the bottom of the page (between edit and history), and type your page tags into the input box. Please recycle tags where possible! This way we don't end up with 3 half demon pages and 4 half-demon pages. The tag cloud is displayed at the bottom of this page and in the sidebar to the left. When in doubt, ask someone on +staff for assistance.
