Background
Lucille's family has had a very long history of lycanthropy. Her great, great, great grandfather was a powerful shaman in a tribe in the Panama area. He was bitten by a wolf just before fathering two children, and ever since each of his descendents have had some sort of experience with werewolves. It became tradition of the descendents of Lucille's great, great, great grandfather to be bitten. It's a sad existence, but the family became dedicated to unlocking the secrets of lycanthropy.
Her great, great grandfather grew up experiencing typical wolf-like behaviour, and when he had Lucille's great grandfather, and turned him, he realized how dangerous such behaviour was. He began searching for a way to control it, and this investigating went on for some time without success. By then, he'd ravaged Panama City and the surrounding areas with his wolf night escapades, alarming police forces. Combined with the danger of being hunted by slayers, it was too risky to stay in Panama, so the family picked up and moved to America.
It was in Henderson, Nevada that Lucille's family began unlocking the secrets to their lycanthropy. Meditation, self-control, and other elements of relaxation were used to control the shifting of a human to wolf man or woman. They were no longer animals - instead they learned to control their urges as wolves, and human casualties were brought down to a minimum. From then on, they lived peaceful lives that were as normal as they could've been.
That is, until Lucille was born. That's when the shit hit the fan.
Lucille was the most volatile and angry member of their family, and had her first night as a wolf at the very early age of 7. She was just as uncontrollable as a wolf as she was a rambunctious kid. Her parents never could decide which form was worse to deal with - at least as a wolf she couldn't talk! They resorted to putting her in a cage with chains, to her mother's discontent.
Using the same methods of meditation her ancestors had, Lucille began learning about her lycanthropy. It's likely that growing more mature as she aged helped, though soon enough Lucille had developed her own ways of controlling her temper, and ergo, her shifting. Years she spent trying to perfect it, and in her midteen years she found she could change whenever she pleased, and keep a clear mind during the wolf nights.
High school was especially hard for her, because her temper and strength made her a feared freak among her peers. She was the one with no friends, but a bucket load of respect and notoriety. Anyone who gave her a hard time was either beaten to a pulp on the spot (she was later suspended), or snacked on later on in the night…
Lucille took to activities like running and kick-boxing to release her rage in a healthy manner. Hobbies like photography and motorcycling kept her entertained. She even spent some time on medication; however money became hard to come by when both her mother and father fell ill. They weren't a wealthy family to begin with, and the medical bills forced Lucille to take on a full-time job and drop out of high school in her senior year.
At age 19, Lucille had a stable grasp on her inner wolf; however that didn't stop her from abusing her powers. At first, it was just a bit of theft - maybe the occasional bite to a police man's head (meant to be assumed that they were /killed/, and not turned) - but she soon realized that she could use her powers to provide for her family. Now bed-ridden, her mother and father were withering away slowly, and without money Lucille had no chance of saving them. With each raid, the big black beast of Henderson gained more recognition.
Which was really, really bad. Even though having someone draw a comic book based on you was kinda cool.
Lucille, with her new wealth, hauled her mother and father to a safer location in Las Vegas. She settled down, and when she began her raids again, she made sure to be quieter about it. After a few months of this, she finally managed to pay off her parent's medical bills, and decided to send them off to the most expensive retirement home in Nevada, where they live in luxury, and where Lucy frequently visits them.
Now 23, Lucille's comfortable life alone has been disrupted. The recent demonic activities and the traces of slayers in the area have her on high alert. She's now trying to finish high school, while at the same time doing her best to find a job, and make her midnight raids less of a necessity.
Description
Lucille is a 23 year-old woman of Brazilian-American descent with the dark colouration to prove it. She stands at about 5 feet and five inches, with hair as black as coal, and almond-shaped eyes to match. Her skin is light brown, and the tan is even over her entire body. She has a small chin, but a jaw line that is somewhat square with a wide mouth displaying healthy, white teeth. Her wavy hair has been let down, reaching a few inches below her shoulders, though her bangs have been cut straight above her eyebrows.
Currently, Lucille wears a simple white tank top with a scooping collar and thick shoulder straps. Occasionally, when the weather permits, she wears a stylish, black jacket over this. Her jeans are tight around the thighs, but are comfier and baggy as they near her ankles. A few rips and tears can be found in these pants, but whether it's because she's careless, or making a fashion statement, is unclear. They're darker than your typical blue jeans, and are closer to a dark navy colour.
A thick, black, leather belt keeps her jeans up with a white buckle in the shape of a crescent moon. Clipped to her belt is a set of overall straps, though they hang loosely at her hips. She's tucked her jeans into a pair of black boots that reach the middle of her shins. Each boot buckles up twice, and is meant for running rather than fashion, as the heel barely adds any height.
Wolf Form
A big, black mass of muscle and fur is Lucille's werewolf form. This beast looks to be about 250 pounds, though the oily hair all over it makes its weight difficult to estimate. The eyes are black, and hard to see, as the fur around its eyes cover the whites around it. A snout commonly found in the canine family ends in a black, moist nose, while below its powerful jaw houses a set of razor sharp, white teeth. The werewolf's fur forms a thick, long "mane" around the neck, greatly increasing the perceived diameter, and a thick fringe on the underbelly, and is shortest on the face and extremities. The ears are long and pointed.
The torso is distinctly human shaped, though the black fur obscures the werewolf's figure. The arms are extremely long and slender, with biceps, triceps, and forearms all covered in thick fuzz. Thighs that resemble a human female's come down from wide hips. The shins have an extension where a normal human's ankle would be that moves down into a paw shaped foot, adding more than a few inches, with five toes tipped with black claws.
This combination of human and animal anatomy makes it likely that this creature is equally comfortable in the quadruped or bipedal stance, usually choosing the latter on digitigrades (wolf-like) legs with the aid of a bushy tail.
Relationships
| Name | Relation | Notes |
| Savannah | Friends? | They literally bumped into each other at the park one night. Unfortunately, Lucille was in her werewolf form and Sunny had a gun. Surprisingly, no one was shot. The next night, they met at the pool hall and actually managed to get along. Savannah's one of the only ones who knows about Lucille's true nature. |
| Madison | Best Friend | Keep in mind that Lucille doesn't have very many friends in the first place. Out of all the people she's spoken to, aside from Savannah, she's been most honest with Madison. They've known each other for a very short time, but Lucy enjoys her company more than she should. She likes to spoil Madison, and is aware of her demonic nature, though it barely phases Lucille. |
