Judas Brandt Armstrong is my latest nom de guerre. I have had many over the centuries, all of them just as effective as the previous. My kind was created to battle the bothersome Gallu, but I was given a secondary purpose. You see, nothing fuels sorcery better than a human soul, and I was blessed with the means and talents to seize controlling interest of these souls by way of an infernal pact. Methods vary and I have to admit that I’ve mastered it down to an art form.
A combination of good looks, a silver tongue and a little demonic deceit, and the average needy mortal would sign over his first born child’s soul. I still remember the first soul I seized, young girl back in the 1800’s, branded a whore by her village, an outcast terrified of burning for immortal sin. She was so impressionable, that all it took was a sweet smile and the promise of salvation. The poor waif thought I was an angel sent to save her from damnation. Couldn’t have been further from the truth. What happened to her afterwards is really no concern of mine, I got what I was supposed to get; her fate was her own. Come to think of it, that whole village fell to my charms. It’s what helped me make a name for myself.

However, as good as I am at my job, I was eventually bound to attract some enemies along the way. I signed the soul of a young teen boy with stars in his eyes and aspiring dreams about 20 years ago or so. I had no clue that he was the secret lover of an overzealous demon hunter by the name of Mathias, who swore to slay me even if it meant his life. *sigh* The constant poking of these demon hunters and Scooby Don’t has become so bothersome. If they weren’t so useful to me as contracts, I’d have more fun eviscerating every one I come across. On the other hand, I suppose I could view their meddling as a challenge. Always looking for new ways to improve the art of contracting. So after all of the work that was done for the LA branch, the Vegas firm. There is where I met Geoffry, a silent little intern who works in my department. Smoothtalking him into becoming my little grunt was nothing short of genius. He is a marvel in the office room, and he takes orders quite well, even psychological torture. *sigh* Can’t ask for anything better in a job. Why, if I keep this up, I’m sure to make senior partner.
