Background - PreGame
Jackie was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan until the age of twelve. Her uncle Robert, who owned a gym in Vegas, had noticed the girl had a gift for sports, particularly archery, and convinced her parents to move out west so he could introduce her to his friend, Victor Moreno, who was a trainer to Olympic Archers. Once she moved to Vegas, she ended up spending most of her free time with her two trainers; her uncle in the gym learning the ins and outs of Olympic Weight Lifting, and Victor, who helped her fine tune her archery skills.
At the age of 16, Jackie made the 2008 Olympic Games in China, and placed 10th in Women's Archery, while she didn't make the United States weight lifting team. She was one of the youngest Olympians there (discounting the gymnasts, of course), and while she was disappointed in not receiving a medal, she would always treasure the experience of going. The spectacle of marching in the Opening Ceremonies is something she will never forget, and her placing has just driven her even harder to do better when the Olympics roll around again.
Since she’s been back, however, Jackie has noticed some strange things going on in her life, things that she hasn’t been able to explain away. She was walking back from training one evening and took a shortcut through a classically dark alley and noticed a young woman and what could only be described as a vampire locked in a fight. The woman blasted some sort of force or wind spell –Jackie didn’t know what- and it misfired, slamming directly into the teenager and sending her into a wall. The woman did eventually end up dusting the vampire before the girl’s eyes before the witch ran off. She's had a few paranormal experiences since then, including one notable one where she launched a bolt into a vampire's heart after she spent some time reading up on the history of the bloodsuckers, but she's not yet known terribly well in any supernatural communities.
