6, 9, 12, or 15 pt. Quality

The Haunt Quality costs 6, 9, 12, or 15 points, depending on whether the area the ghost is haunting is small, medium, large, or very large. A Ghost with this quality can do pretty much whatever they want to their haunted area; such as moving things telekinetically, creating winds, calling up swarms of wasps, or sucking intruders into the floor. These effects work the same as a TK maneuver or a spell effect. Using the rules of spell design (news spell design), a Ghost works up the Power Level of the effect they wish to create. Then they must make either a Willpower/Occultism -or- a doubled Willpower roll (whichever is higher) and a get a number of Success Levels equal to or greater than the Power Level of the spell effect.

For example, a Ghost haunting the local cemetery wishes to create a swarm of wasps that is large enough to attack up to three people and do 3x Willpower per Success Level in damage. Per the rules of spell design, that is a Severe Scope (+2) and a Major Effect (+3), meaning the Ghost would need at least 5 Success Levels to pull it off.

Moving things telekinetically is based on the same roll using the rules of telekinesis (news telekinesis).

Small One room in a big house, a very small apartment (like a studio).
Medium A shotgun shack, a house, a restaurant, the Cherry Bomb… generally, an average-sized building.
Large Cemetery, park, mansion, the Mirage, a Wolfram and Hart building… generally, a large building.
Extra Large The Strip, the Red Rock Canyon National Park. A BIG, spread-out area.
