Emotional Problems

Variable Drawback

Okay, so your character has issues. In fact, you may have issues, back issues, and a lovely four-color omnibus to go with them. Whatever the nature of the distress, there's SOME serious emotional baggage that your character is carrying around with them.

This Drawback comes in various flavors:

DEPRESSION Your character has severe depression, which can make doing anything, or even holding down a job, very difficult. Such a character suffers a -1 penalty to all tasks. This is a 2 pt. Drawback, or a 1 pt. if the character is successfully on medication for it.
EASILY FLUSTERED A character like this very easily loses their cool, and when they do, they tend to become clumsy, say stupid things, and otherwise embarrass themselves. This 1 pt. Drawback provides a -1 to appropriate rolls if the character is flustered.
EMOTIONAL DEPENDENCY This character is very clingy, needy, and high maintenance. Good for a 1 pt. Drawback and annoyed friends/significant others.
FEAR OF COMMITMENT A character like this has a hard time letting anyone in close. Maybe they've been hurt in the past, or maybe they've lost someone, but they shy away from emotional commitments. 1 pt. Drawback.
FEAR OF REJECTION A character with this 1 pt. Drawback easily becomes hurt and angry when rejected, or when they perceive themselves as having been rejected.

Examples: Kendra (Fear of Commitment), Faith (Fear of Rejection), Faith (Fear of Commitment), Fred (Easily Flustered), Fred (Emotional Dependency), Dawn (Fear of Rejection)
