That's right. You're The Man. The Law. Johnny Fuzz. Just the facts, ma'am. Your character is out there night after night, putting personal life and limb in the whole quest to serve and protect.
This Trait provides +1 to any two Physical Attributes of the character's choosing (cannot exceed 6), and a +1 to the Crime, Driving, and Gun-Fu skills. It also carries with it all the weight and authority of actually BEING a police officer, with all the police powers that go with it.
Being a Detective also comes with 2 pts. of Contacts and a 2 pt. Rank Quality, representing their greater influence in the department, but the Obligation Drawback also rises to 2 pts.
For 7 pts, you can be a retired detective. A retired detective does not get the Rank or Obligation traits.
