Variable Quality
Your character is a demon. This isn't necessarily a bad thing…some demons are perfectly upstanding folks. The nature of what KIND of demon you are, and what you can do, that's something different. If you're not using one of the demon races below, you have to use the special Supernatural Qualities to build up your demon race, and whatever it costs, it costs (see NEWS PACKAGES).

Baigar
14 pt. Quality
The Baigar were once one of the most populous demon races in Europe, but various wars between demon clans and heroes have left their numbers low. They appear to be large, red-skinned humanoids with digitigrades legs, hoofed feet, leathery wings, and bladed tentacles. They tend to be warriors and berserkers, but have softened somewhat in modern days and can be found in a number of roles.
Baigar receive +2 Strength, +2 Constitution, +2 Willpower, Acute Senses (Sight), +8 Flight (huge, leathery wings in classic demon-style on their backs), Natural Weapons in the form of long, powerful tentacles that end in curved, scythe-like blades on their shoulders (4x Strength slash/stab), and speak the Baigar racial tongue (Baigari). They suffer from a -2 Supernatural Form, and a Major Vulnerability to gold (massive damage, 5x damage after armor and other modifiers).
Brachen
9 or 10 pt. Quality
Brachen demons are blue-skinned, with spine, quills, or very small horns covering their heads and necks. Their eyes are either red or yellow. They are stronger, tougher, and faster than humans, and have sharp senses, able to tell when magic or inhumans are about.
Full-blooded Brachen do not have a human form, but half-bloods do and can switch between forms at will (or accidentally, when stressed…or sneezing). Their spines change their Head Butt damage to slash/stab in their native forms. They cannot be killed by a Break Neck maneuver, but all other forms of combat damage them normally, in their demon forms only.
Brachen get +1 to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution. They also have +2 Acute Hearing and +2 Acute Smell/Taste, and +3 Supernatural Senses. Their spines are a low-damage +1 Natural Weapon. Full-blooded Brachen have a -2 Supernatural Form drawback and half-blooded have a -1 Supernatural Form drawback, as their abilities all reside in their demon form.
Byblos
13 pt. Quality
Known as the Librarians, Byblos demons are living databases that never forget anything they've assimilated. Full-blooded Byblos demons prefer to observe and learn, rather than do anything and rarely get themselves involved in any conflict. The half-Byblos are identical to their full-blooded brethren, but tend to be less obsessed with knowledge and have a full range of human emotion.
The natural form of a Byblos demon is a faceless, jet-black humanoid that appears to be made of pure, solid darkness. They can assume a human shape at will, which is usually that of a slight, skinny human. Half-bloods have a natural human form, but can shift into their demon forms at will, though most prefer not to.
Byblos get +5 Intelligence, +5 Hard to Kill, +1 Increased Life Points, the Photographic Memory quality and a -1 Supernatural Form drawback.
Caranta
11 pt. Quality
Caranta demons were created by the magician race of another dimension, in order to fight their enemies, the Gallu demons. Because of this, the Caranta and Gallu are natural enemies, and the Gallu are intent on wiping out the Caranta so they can gain dominion over their home dimension.
The Caranta have the ability to shift between a human and demonic forms. In their demon form they have dark, reddish brown horns that curve towards the back of their shoulders, and large, similarly colored leathery wings. Their eyes tend to be pale, from pure white to a light silver-grey, and their skin has a reddish tint to it.
Caranta demons benefit from immortality, one level of increased life points, regeneration (per hour), fast reaction time, three levels of hard to kill, flight, +3 constitution, +3 dexterity, +2 strength, and +2 levels of kung fu.
They suffer from severe mental problems (cruelty) and serious covetous (greed). They have a minor vulnerability to magically imbued enchanted gold. As mentioned above, they have an adversary (-3, Gallu demons) and -1 supernatural form. Because their flight is dependent on their wings, they can only fly in demon form.
Draconic Wyrmling
17 pt. Quality
While dragons are popularly believed to be extinct, that is not quite true. A few elder ones lurk in other dimensions, imprisoned by (or servants to) demons or dark hellgods. Though adults are almost never seen on earth, occasionally an ancient, forgotten egg is unearthed from an archaeological dig site, or found in an ancient cave. From these eggs hatch wyrmlings, the last of their species of demon. As vain as they are greedy; even the youngest of these demons tend to be rather full of themselves…and fearsome foes. Though their scales have not yet hardened into armor, and they are neither as large or as tough as their millennia-old parents (being only about 6 feet long) - these very young children are still a force to be reckoned with.
Wyrmlings benefit from +5 Strength, +5 Constitution, Immortality, +2 Natural Weapon (small, teeth and claws, 2x Str slash/stab), +8 Supernatural Attack (fire, minor ranged), +1 Regeneration, +2 Hard to Kill, and +4 Flight. They suffer from -2 Supernatural Form (6 foot-long dragons with teeth, claws, and fire-breath), Severe Cruelty (dragons like seeing their enemies suffer), Severe Greed (dragons are a vain and greedy species), and a -5 Adversary (dragon blood and scales are extremely potent Enchanter ingredients. Besides that, any number of demon hunters would love to test their mettle by slaying a dragon).
Draoidheil
10 or 11 pt. Quality
Draoidheil Demons are an ancient and rare breed originating in Ireland. For centuries they have been the keepers of all things magical and mystical, from books and artifacts to knowledge not fit to be included in the written word. They are natural linguists, providing them the extra edge in translating even the most ancient of texts.
In more recent history, the Draoidheil have taken to breeding with humans to blend in with society. This has granted them the ability to gather even more information, for now the half-breeds can wander about in their human form without need to hide in the shadows. Full bloods of the breed cannot assume any form but their demon form, while half breeds are able to shift between human and demon at will. Half breeds tend to dark hair and eyes as the Draoidheil tend toward the 'Black Irish' rather than their fairer brethren. They rarely, if ever, breed with anyone that isn't of Irish descent.
All Draoidheil, both full bloods and half bloods, are relentless in their search for knowledge of all things occult. They can even be cruel in their pursuits. They are all also expected to make contributions to the groups collective knowledge as well as be available in the event that something threatens the group or that collective knowledge.
Draoidheil benefit from +3 to all mental stats, +2 to occultism, and two levels of increased life points. They are Polyglots, have Photographic Memory, Nerves of Steel, and have small Natural Weapons in the form of claws on their hands (2xSTR slash/stab damage).
All draoidheil suffer from severe Mental Problems (Obsession - obsessed with the occult and must make a doubled WP roll to resist any situation where more knowledge of the occult can be gained), mild Mental Problems (Cruelty), Covetous (Greed and Power), are saddled with an Important obligation to the tribe, and suffer a major vulnerability to gold (taking 1 pt. per Turn of skin-to-gold exposure). Both full- and half-blooded versions have a Supernatural Form drawback, though only the half-bloods can assume human form.
Gri'ah
13 pt. Quality
The Gri'ah were once a servitor race whose primary functions were to act as bodyguards and assassins. They served their Demon Lord for a millenia before there was a Great Betrayal. When the dust settled, the Gri'ah had nearly been exterminated. The survivors are most often found in service to demon cults, though a few roam free, refusing to serve any but themselves.
Gri'ah can look human and shift forms at will. Their demon form is that of a blue-skinned humanoid with glowing red eyes. When stressed, they will usually revert back to their demon form unless they resist with a doubled Willpower roll.
They receive a +3 bonus to Strength and Constitution, +2 to Dexterity, Regeneration per Minute, 2 levels of Hard to Kill, and 1 level of Increased Life Points. They have a -1 Supernatural Form drawback.
Lethean
8 pt. Quality
Lethean Demons are slender nymph like creatures that tend the waters of the River Lethe in the underworld. They have solid white eyes, long webbed fingers and toes, delicately pointed ears, almost translucent skin, and noses that are understated as no more than two small slits in the center of their face. Even when away from their homeland, their tears carry the power of the river within their body and cause forgetfulness in any who drink them. Lethean demons are sought by those who wish to begin their life anew as a blank slate or wish to forget some horrible personal event. The demons however hold onto these stolen memories, which are called up at random while they sleep, giving rise to sometimes horrible nightmares. They exist in a slightly dream dazzled state at all times, making them slower to react to external stimuli, though they are able to glean details of an objects or person's past by letting this dream state overtake them for a few minutes.
Lethean tears are a serious Toxin which brings about memory loss in anyone who drinks them. This toxin is resisted by Willpower. A failed roll means that a broad swath of time (up to 48 hours) is erased from the drinker's memory. To restore the missing memories, the 'victim' would need to be introduced to significant emotional stimuli from the missing period. This could be a song that was important to the memory, a wedding ring, a recreated meal - ie, anything unique to the affected memory that would act as an anchor to snap the missing details into place. A successful Willpower roll either means there is no memory loss, or the victim can target a very specific memory to lose. Imbibing the Lethean tears three times over three days makes the memory loss permanent.
To summarize: Serious Toxin - Tears - Memory Loss (+8), Psychometry (+4), Willpower (+2), Recurring Nightmares (-1), Supernatural Form (-2), Dexterity (-1), Strength (-1), and Perception (-1).
Schadenfreude
5 pt. Quality
The Schadenfreude demon is a species of demon that thrives on general mayhem and misfortune. They also don't tend to show their faces in our realm, ever, due to the fact that the laws of karma seem to work differently. When they are in this realm, they are restricted to humanoid forms in all physical ways, save for agelessness (which is much lamer than their true forms back at home, so this is generally seen as banishment). They have the ability to generate bad luck for those around them (spilled coffee, broken pens, bicycle accidents), tied to their immortality, and should they disrupt this status quo by doing a good deed, bad luck will be turned on them (opening the door for something may mean they hit their knee all the way through to saving a someone from a burning building may mean they are struck by lightning) as per their curse.
They benefit from Immortality, +2 Influence, +3 Occultism, +2 Perception. They also have a zero-point Supernatural Forms as they possess a demon form when not banished, but are restricted to a very normal human shape in this realm, suffer a -2 Curse, are Magic Magnets, and must abide a -1 Imperative.
Wendigo
14 pt. Quality
The Wendigo are superficially similar to vampires, being human bodies inhabited by demonic entities. In the case of the Wendigo, however, the 'victim' is always an irredeemably evil person who welcomes the spirit in, merging mind and soul to become a single demonic being. The resulting creature is strong, tough, and very hard to kill. The Wendigo are cannibals who delight in feasting upon human flesh. They appear as normal humans, but can adopt a 'game face' which reveals their true nature, with sharp claws, oversized fang-like teeth, and glowing eyes. Not very numerous, the Wendigo often end up leading groups of lesser vampires and demons. They do not age, and can only be killed by decapitation, breaking the neck, or otherwise severing the spinal cord at the neck. Wendigos are ancestral enemies of Totem Warriors and other Primal champions of humanity.
Wendigos get the following as part of the demon package: +2 Strength, +3 Dexterity, +2 Constitution, +1 Perception, Natural Weapon: Retractable Claws and Teeth (small, 2x Strength), +6 Regeneration, Immortal, Unique Kill: Sever Spinal Cord at Neck, -1 Supernatural Form: Glowing Red Eyes, Sharp Teeth and Claws, -3 Adversary: Totem Warriors, -3 Mental Problems: Cruelty.
