Variable Quality
Your character knows people. When you need to check for information, or
get your hands on that rare item, when you need to pull some strings, it's
time to whip out the Rolodex. The help or information might not be free, but
you can probably get some assistance even if it means jumping through a hoop
or two.
This Quality provides varying aid based on the cost. A 1 pt. Contact
will probably provide information only, whereas a 2 pt. Contact is likely to
help in matters that involve no real risk or effort (lending a ride, or a
place to stay). Contacts between 3 and 5 pts. will provide real, tangible
support. The amount of the support they can provide is based on the cost; a
single influential person might be 3 pts, whereas the Watcher's Council or
Wolfram and Hart might be closer to 5.
