Background
The sorted past of Fluer Leonne was that she was born in France. She was a very beautiful girl with a lot of talent. She was a French Ballet dancer. The younger sister of Jasper Leonne. She traveled a great deal with her French Ballet company. One of her travels had taken her to Canada. She was the lead in the Ballet there.
As one knows, Ballerina's are very catty and it is very competitive. Especially for the part of the lead. The understudy for Fluer had sabotaged a stair to the stage and when Fluer was going down the stairs after her performance with her partner. The weight of the two dancers broke the stair and the two of them had tumbled down them. Fortunately for the male lead, he landed on something soft and cushy. Unfortunately for Fluer, it was her. She had broken her right ankle and left leg. It was touch and go, The doctor who had taken care of her was Joseph Twoyoungmen.
He had saved her life and her legs so she would at least be able to walk again. But she would never be a ballerina again. Fluer was very depressed but it was Joseph who kept her going. The Native American man's smile kept her going. And despite the fact that Joseph was a married man with a young daughter. As Fluer recovered the two began a secret romance. Soon Fluer was with child.
There were a lot of rumors but people had just assumed that the Ballerina had gotten pregnant by her former male lead. While Fluer's brother had been wishing and hoping for a son. And Fluer, wanted her child to be a girl. But it was Jasper's unwed sister who had a boy. The boy, Brody had taken almost exactly in appearance after his mother. So there was no real indication of who the father was. And the boys name, Brody was also giving nothing away.
But Fluer knew the truth and she also knew that her beautiful bouncing baby boy didn't get all his looks from her. He had her blonde hair and big blue eyes and her light skin. But she knew that he had the thing that had made her fall for his father. The boy had his father's dimpled smile. And Fluer was the only one who really knew the father except for Joseph himself. That smile was not the only thing that Brody had inherited from his father's side of the family.
The boy had been touched with a gift. A gift that Brody never really understood or knew he had. He could see magical energies, even as an infant. He would cry when the perfectly normal looking glamoured demon that lived in the apartment next door would go near him. He didn't know about demons he just knew that the man was scary. He hid this gift from everyone as the beautiful baby boy grew up. He just thought it was an instinct that he was just perceptive and good at reading other people. It wasn't until he got a bit older that he was able to develop the sight to understand it.
Fluer raised him in Alberta for a couple of years. She did not let the fact that he was a boy stop her from raising her son to appreciate dancing. The cute boy was trained in ballet from an early age by his mother herself. Of course this had given him a lot of trouble with some of the other boys. But Brody didn't care, he loved to dance and he could really hold the attention of those around him on stage. It is rather a shame that Brody didn't take more from his father, for the boy was not very smart at all. He relied on his looks and his talents. He just did not have much in brain power and so he focused on his other assets instead.
Brody lived with his mom in Alberta for a few years. As Brody turned 8, the boy had no real father figure in his life. Fluer had separated herself from Joseph after he reconciled with his wife. So through the first few years he no real male figure in his life. Joseph Twoyoungmen was always just introduced as the nice Doctor who helped saved mommy's life after 'the accident'. Joseph was only around a couple times a year. Joseph didn't agree with Fluer raising his son to be a prissy ballerina. He insisted upon allowing one of his relatives in the tribe to at least teach the boy martial arts. It was an excuse for the man to spend some time with his son.
Joseph and Brody spent every Tuesday night training martial arts. The training went on for years as long as it did not interrupt his dancing. It was when Brody was 13 that his life got flipped and turned upside down. No one really knows why it happens, but there was a natural threat to the area. A wendigo had migrated to the area and he started to cause major trouble. It was when the spirits of the Tribe had awakened and a young generation of Totem Warriors were chosen. The public as a whole may not have known that Brody was a member of the tribe. But you can not fool genetics and you can not fool the spirits. They were all knowing. And they had deemed the young man worthy of a spirit. They had seen a potential in him that Brody had not even seen in himself. He was tapped by the spirit of the Crane.
The Crane had chosen Brody for many reasons. He was naturally graceful and poised as a Ballerina. Brody had been picked by the Crane who as far as the Tribe had known. Had not picked a warrior to represent it for generations. He had a hard time getting along with the other warriors. The blonde boy stood out like a sore thumb amongst the dark haired members of the Tribe. On top of that he was not like the other boys. They were masculine and he was pretty much the exact opposite as them.
The elders had said that the Crane spirit was a symbol of good luck. Unlike most of the tapped warriors. Brody's training from all his years with Joseph and his dance background had actually given him an advantage. He had quickly proven himself in combat and was accepted into the Tribe. Still none of them had known that the boy was actual blood. They had just assumed that he was tapped because he was born on the land. Brody spent two years training with the other Totem Warriors when his life got another flip.
His mother had been offered a job as a choreographer in Las Vegas, Nevada. So mother and 15 year old Brody were shipped to Vegas on a work Visa. Brody was pulled away from the Totem Warrior group and forced to go with his mother. In Vegas Brody lost a bit of focus as far as his obligation to the Totem Spirit. His focus had been distracted by the glitz and glamour of the city. He had taken focus in dancing again. And had big hopes to become a famous dancer again. Especially with his mother working with the Vegas shows. The years here, Fluer had also fallen in love with a man who ran security at the Casino she was working at. They had been married and soon Mother and son were American citizens. Brody continued school here. And he barely was able to graduate. But he did it. He made it out. Brody didn't get along with his new Step Father. And Brody decided to move out of home at 18. And that is where we are today. With the teenager moving out of home and looking for a new place in life.
Personality
Brody is very 'different'. He's not exactly a typical gay man in that he tries not to fall into a lot of those old cliches. Yes he loves to show off. He is very much like a peacock as far as his body and so forth. He does not mind showing off a bit of his smooth skin as he is an exhibitionist. He tries to be very masculine despite his obvious interest in men. He is sensitive and people really seem to end up telling him deep dark secrets that they never tell anyone. He is what people call a good listener. People just open up to him naturally. He's got a complex and odd sense of morals. He doesn't like to lie, he really doesn't like stealing. He is a flirt and very up front about whether he finds you attractive. Yet he is very devoted and loyal to his friends once he creates that bond. He admits that he love to cuddle and loves when someone run there fingers through his hair. He says he has never had a boyfriend before but would never date a girl. He does love expensive things. But isn't a fan of shopping. He isn't greedy but he wants the best of things in life and isn't afraid to work hard to get them. He wants the fame and to be known as one of the worlds best dancers. Except he knows that now he has an unfair advantage on normal Danseurs. Oh yes, he's kind of unintelligent.
